I’ve shelved books and ordered books for BookWoman in Austin, Texas, for the Toronto Women’s Bookstore in Toronto, Ontario, and, for just a little while now, for MonkeyWrench Books in Austin, Texas. I am a queer lesbian, white antiracist, U.S. citizen opposed to borders, ally, library school student radical, reader. This blog creates space to think about how book distribution (through radical bookstores and libraries) is central to how we get the books that save our lives. Of course, bookstores and libraries house the most fascinating stories!
